Today's post features 1 of my favorite stitches of all fourth dimension, the granny ripple.  The granny ripple makes a beautiful design of alternate peaks and valleys, and one of the all-time things most it is that its pretty mindless in one case you lot get a few rows nether your chugalug.  Perfect for Netflix watching!

My Affections Deject Afghan Pattern is a fluffy all white version of the granny ripple and since posting this pattern I accept received many requests to make a tutorial using regular worsted weight yarn and then without further ado, lets dive in!

**UPDATE** Delight annotation, since posting this tutorial I have edited the Angel Cloud Afghan Pattern.

  • worsted weight acrylic yarn in desired colors (pictured yarns include: Big Twist Value Yarn in Golden, Lite Teal, and Soft Grey)
  • 5.0 mm crochet hook
  • pair of scissors
  • yarn needle

Chain 46

Row 1: starting in fourth ch from hook, make 3 dc, skip 2 bondage, 3 dc in same chain, skip 2 chains, three dc in same chain, skip 2 dc, (3 dc, ch3, 3 dc) in same sew together, skip ii chains

3 dc in same chain, skip two bondage, 3 dc in same chain, skip two bondage, iii dc in same chain, skip 5 chains

3 dc in same chain, skip 2 bondage

3 dc in same chain, skip two bondage, iii dc in same chain, skip two chains, 4 dc in aforementioned chain

*Please notation, you will want to complete four dc in the last cluster of your row to lucifer the first cluster (the chain iii + 3 dc y'all began Row ane with), this will occur only in Row one.

Brand 3 dc in each of the adjacent ii cluster spaces, brand 3 dc, concatenation 3 and three more dc in the pinnacle cluster space

make three dc in each of the next three cluster spaces, skip over the centre cluster space (the v chain space from the previous row)

brand 3 dc in next cluster space (see photo beneath)

and make iii dc in each of the side by side ii cluster spaces, make 3 dc, concatenation iii and three more dc in same peak space

make three dc in each of the next 3 cluster spaces, brand i dc in the concatenation infinite of the previous row (meet arrow for placement of your dc below)

And call back to consummate your last dc up until the last yarn over, cut yarn and consummate your last yarn over with your new color

Row 3: Repeat Row ii, just nosotros'll run through the instructions 1 more time!

Turn and chain 4

brand iii dc, concatenation 3, 3 dc in peak cluster infinite, make three dc in each of the side by side 3 cluster spaces, dc in chain space from the previous row (and recall to use the colour trick described in rows 1 and 2!)

Keep repeating Row 2 until y'all achieve your desired length.
